Experience: I have over 23 years experience as a teacher and tutor. I have taught maths, English language literature and English as a Foreign (TEFL) and English as a Second Language (ESL) to all ages and all abilities from 5 years old children up to adults.


I have tutored children and adults of all abilities, helping them with reading, writing, phonics, maths and English. I am very patient and thorough with all my students.

Also I am an expert in preparing pupils for the 7+, 11+ entrance examinations for all the selective London schools, for which I have had an excellent success rate.

I have also had great success in preparing students for the Cambridge First Certificate and Advanced exams.

I have been a Cambridge University examiner in English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) and examination writer for Edeexcel exams too.

I have worked as an editor, writer and journalist for many leading organisations including the BBC, and London University.
