I am a 22-year-old postgraduate student, currently undertaking a Masters in European Politics. I have just completed my undergraduate degree in Spanish, French, and German with 1st Class Honours and oral distinction. During my degree, I spent time living in Madrid, Spain, and Strasbourg, France, which really helped me develop and broaden my understanding of these countries` cultures, as well as improve my language skills. I would therefore like to use my experiences and knowledge to help teach you Spanish and French. As a non-native speaker of these languages, I fully understand all the challenges of learning a foreign language. As a result, I am very patient and understanding of any questions or queries you may have, as I too have been there. I am very flexible with my teaching, therefore if you ever want to cover a particular topic or element of the language, I would more than happy to tailor the lessons to you. Also, I can conduct the classes entirely in the target language or just partly, depending on your preference and what you think will help you learn most effectively. If you would like me to plan a curriculum for our classes, I would of course be able to do that, but if you are just looking for assistance and support to supplement your school classes, I can also arrange this. In order to break up the monotony of just continuously learning grammar and vocabulary, I like to try and incorporate topics of culture and current affairs into my classes, unless you tell me you would rather not. This provides an ideal opportunity to apply the linguistic elements of the language that we have learned into a real-life scenario.
