Information about Liz
Hello! I`m Liz - a qualified teacher who now tutors full-time. Every day I help students achieve their best - which is often better than they ever thought possible!
I have a masters degree in history (St Andrews) and a PGCE (Bradford College). I qualified as a teacher in 2010.
The subjects I offer are Maths and English - I cover all ages from KS3 through to GCSE and A level.
I also provide coaching and preparation for entrance exams and 11+.
Don`t be put off by distance - I offer online as well as face to face tuition.
Availability: I tutor between 10 am and 9 pm Monday to Saturday. Please enquire for my current availability - I usually become fully booked prior to the start of each new term. If I`m already full I can put you on my waiting list for the following term.
I tutor online or in my students` homes (covering Stamford, Peterborough, Corby and the villages in between). I do not offer tuition from my own home. My hourly rate includes travel expenses and all resources - there are no additional charges.
Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: I have been teaching for 15 years and tutoring for 20. My career has involved working with pupils of all ages and abilities. I love to see my students gain confidence, enjoy their studies and improve their grades as our tuition progresses.
As well as my degree (MA) and my teaching certificate (PGCE), I am currently studying for a masters degree in Dyslexia, giving me specialist teacher status.
