Toby

I`m Toby, a university student currently in my 4th and final year studying Biomedical Science at the University of Surrey. I`ve averaged a 1st across my first two years (my third year was a one-year internship) and am predicted to achieve a 1st at the end of my course.

I am passionate about biology and mathematics and I aim to provide a fun, yet informative and concise tutoring experience which hopefully not only leaves the tutee with a strong understanding of the subject, but also a desire to pursue it.

I`m easygoing, flexible, earnest, and am a strong believer in tailoring my lessons to individual needs - everyone has areas they struggle in, and in my opinion targeting those areas is the best way to help someone improve.

Availability: I am available all day on weekends, as well as varying times on other weekdays (feel free to ask, I am very flexible).

Experience: Last year I gained a 1st in the first year of my degree and this year was enrolled onto a module for the university`s top achievers.
I have had prior experience helping people prepare for entrance exams and GCSE maths, as well as AS and A2 exams in both biology and maths.
I took the Eleven Plus exam before attending secondary school and achieved a top 180 mark, receiving an overall score of 270/280, with full marks in verbal reasoning.
