I’m an experienced maths tutor offering one-to-one GCSE Maths tuition for students who need a little extra support or confidence.

I have a strong academic background in Mathematics, previous GCSE and A-level tutoring experience and experience marking GCSE examination papers. I’m DBS checked and can offer sessions online via Zoom/Teams.

I’m particularly interested in helping students, at any level, who feel that they “just don’t get” maths and need things explained clearly and patiently.

I also offer online sessions to first year undergraduate Maths students.

Availability: After school, evenings, school holidays and weekends

Experience: I have been tutoring for approximately 8 years and I have worked in local secondary schools assisting with activities, such as numeracy and reading, as well as assisting with detailed individual learning plans and individual additional support. I have previously marked GCSE Maths and Biology examination papers for a UK exam board.

I have a full DBS on the online update service as well as registration with EWC as a school support worker.

I have detailed knowledge of all the major UK exam boards syllabus, particularly WJEC, AQA and OCR.
