I am currently a student at Saint Olaves Grammar School, which is based in Orpington, Kent. I have done my GCSEs and have achieved 9`s (the maximum grade) in all of my subjects. I am currently starting study for my A levels, and would love to share my knowledge with other children.
I have taught before with students up to 11+ standard, with excellent results.
I believe that understanding a student`s learning process is very important, and I intend to base my lessons around the way that they learn. Generally, I will explain a certain concept, and check whether the student has understood or not - and then I will allow them to jot down any notes involved; finally doing some exam-style questions to reinforce their knowledge - then I will move to the next concept. I also believe that building a good relationship with the students I work with is important, as it enhances the lessons and makes whatever I explain all the more clearer to understand.
