I am an experienced KS3/4/5 English and Media teacher, graded Outstanding by Ofsted in my NQT year and until recently I had the privilege of working in a local school that was graded Outstanding in all respects. But of course it`s not all about Ofsted criteria, and some aspects of academia don`t suit some students, which is one reason why they might require a tutor in the first place. I will work hard to define a tutee`s strengths, weaknesses and needs, and then tailor sessions around them to help achieve personal goals.
Currently I am on an enforced sabbatical from classroom teaching due to the ill effects of a major road traffic accident, but this means that I have more time to dedicate to tutoring sessions.
I can accommodate or travel anywhere easily accessible by public transport from Chester.
