Hello,

My name is Charles, I’m a positive and educated Englishman with 11 years` 1-2-1 teaching experience both privately and at language schools in English as a Foreign Language.

Apart from my qualifications and experience (see in the experience section), I have other essential qualities:

• EMPATHY - I learned to speak Spanish fluently as an adult, so I understand well the experience and struggles of learning a second language from beginner to advanced.

• PRIDE IN MY JOB - I`m patient, professional and get a lot of satisfaction from seeing students advance and do well in their lives and careers. I really love to teach.

• CREATIVITY – I can assess quickly and intuitively each client’s needs and I develop many of my own tried and tested techniques.

Availability: I`m extremely flexible, I`m able to do early mornings 7 onwards and late evening ( latest 10 pm).

I also work on Saturdays.

Obviously, my availability will depend on how booked up I am. Nevertheless, I always try to fit people in.

Experience: I am Oxford TESOL qualified from Oxford International Greenwich and have an MA distinction in Media Art and Critical Writing from the University College London (UCL).

I have developed a unique teaching style that tailors to the specific needs of each student, including accent reduction, grammar fix, confidence guidance and IELTS prep for Masters/MBA and Medical school.


• PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE - Over the last few years I have worked with many important professionals in London. I have learnt a lot about business English and the needs of such professionals including confidence issues, public speaking and guidance for living in the UK.

Some of the clients I have tutored include:

• Doctors, Lawyers, Instructors, Sports Scientists, Consultants, Project Managers, Internet Entrepreneurs, Engineers, Product Owners, Programmers, Human Resources, Marketing Professionals, Surgeons, Chief Executives, UI and UX designers, Insurance CEO`s - to name a few.

I have taught many different nationalities:

• Spanish, Polish, Russian, Turkish, French, Chinese, Italian, Hungarian, Ukrainian, Japanese, Portuguese, Colombian and Chilean students.

I offer a comfortable place to study in Central London just 5 min walk from Borough station.
