Information about Harry
I consider myself to be a friendly, flexible and dependable individual with a versatile background in academia. This follows my recent graduation from a three-year Chemistry degree at King`s College London. My results were the product of countless hours of revision and exam preparation that were made easier by my enthusiastic and motivational mindset. These are some of the skills I have been able to transfer to my students over the past few years where I have acted as an A level tutor. I have also from these years been able to devise notes based on the different specifications of the 3 science GCSEs and chemistry A level.
I personally view tutoring as a gateway to catalyse the desired achievement in a pupils life. It is my belief that revision alone is not always enough to propel students to the top, but also the adaption of efficient preparation and exam technique is needed. This is a combination I not only used myself but advised to others during my years of chemistry tutoring. Joint with my recent knowledge of exam periods and my organised notes, I am assured in my abilities to give students the confidence and knowledge they may need to unlock their full potential.
My teaching methodologies consist of various techniques depending on the student. For some students, I am sure that outlined lesson plans will be needed to fully deliver the spectrum of the specification. I am also aware that other students will only need help on the intricacies of the subject they are struggling with. Therefore, upon meeting with the student an efficient plan to deliver the highest achievable grade will be created.
