I believe that a solid education provides hope and opportunities for all learners, that is why I have a passion for helping students. I am Greek-American and during my teenage years, I moved between countries and schools, which makes me more understanding and compassionate for students who have faced such a struggle or adjustment. As a tutor, my hope is to bridge the gap between struggle and success for students. I love working with students in small groups, or one-to-one because it gives me a great chance to learn about students specific needs and interests in order to create more learning specific and engaging activities. I am a hard worker, focused on the improvement of students, not just for school but also for their community.

Availability: I am available weekdays from 4pm onward and on weekends 11am onwards.

Experience: After completing my BA in Mathematics with Secondary Education, and my MA in Education, Culture, and Society I have worked as a teacher aid primarily for students with SEN. In that setting, I was able to motivate students of diverse backgrounds and help them overcome educational challenges. I have worked with many students where English was not their first language and have been able to help those students with strategies of using their mother tongue as an advantage to learn English as well.
