Information about Julie
I have been a primary school teacher for 30 years and have taught in London and Worcester. I am passionate that all children can succeed with the right help and support and enjoy learning. In my spare time I enjoy yoga and running. I am a mother of three children who range in age from 27 to 12 years old. When tutoring, I feel it is important to install resilience, independence and confidence as well as knowledge and understanding. My aim is to create a happy and supportive teaching environment.
Availability: I am available all day from 10am - 7pm during the week. I am available Saturday mornings until one . I am able to offer face-to-face tuition.

Experience: I have been a primary school teacher for 30 years and have taught in both private and state schools. After 10 years teaching in London , I moved to Worcester and taught at RGS The Grange for 13 years. I have taught across all year groups from reception to year 6. I have spent many years in Year 6 getting children prepared for secondary school and SATs. Maths and English are my strengths . I have been the school lead in both subjects. During my time at RGSW , I had experience of supporting year 6 through their entrance exams so I am able to provide lessons for 11+ preparation.

We were a little dubious as we’d never used a tutor before, but after a couple of lessons with Julie I would have given her ten starts if it would have let me. She was amazing with our daughter and made her feel very comfortable and self secure from the get go. We only had a few lessons but it was worth every penny and we would highly recommend Julie to anyone he wants to see results and a confident child. 10🌟;

Julie has been an absolute god send! She is friendly, professional and has been really making a huge difference. My son has warmed to her very quickly and looks forward to his sessions!
