Information about Emma
I am currently employed full-time as a primary school teacher at a local school. I have a First-Class Honours degree in Primary Education (BEd hons). I have experience teaching and tutoring a range of ages and abilities with very good outcomes. I am enthusiastic, patient and passionate about teaching. I am fully DBS checked.
Availability: Monday - Friday: 4pm - 9pm
Saturday: 10.30am - 6pm
Sunday: 10am - 6pm
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: I have taught for the past 7 years in `Outstanding` schools. I also have 10 years of tutoring experience. These include primary school tutoring, maths/English to KS3 and all sciences up to GCSE. I have taught a range of children with varying abilities and supported many of these 1:1 with individualised programmes and intervention sessions.
I obtained a first-class honours in my Primary Education (BEd Hons) degree and I was given an award as top graduate for my results.

Emma has tutored our 3 children aged 11 and 12 in Math, Science and English for the last year. She certainly had a challenge with the 3 of them having mixed abilities and some easy to focus while others not so much! Emma engaged all 3 of them in different ways, she quickly figured out what worked to get the best out of them. We are so happy with the results and would (have) recommend Emma to anyone thinking of getting extra support for their children.

We needed a tutor to help our daughter gain confidence in her maths. We thought that as well as being a good tutor it had to be someone with whom our daughter could get along with. Emma is a wonderful tutor - really personable and engaging and our daughter immediately formed a good relationship with her. She made the lessons fun and would also tailor them to suit specific requirements. We have two other daughters and wouldn’t hesitate to use Emma again in the future should they require additional help with their maths.
