Information about Marcin

Having graduated the Bartlett (RIBA Part II) with Distinction and awarded the Bartlett Medal, and gained my Architect RIBA Part III Certificate from the University of Cambridge, I`ve had the privilege of working with award winning practices across London, notably Fosters & Partners and Grimshaw Architects.

My education background includes a qualification from Cambridge University and a Masters in Architecture (RIBA Part II) from the Bartlett School of Architecture, where I studied in Unit 10 with CJ Lim. My academic achievements were recognized with the Bartlett Medal. I also completed my undergraduate degree from Toronto Metropolitan University, where I received the Excellence in Architectural Representation award from the Toronto Society of Architects.

I`d be keen to help students and aspiring architects in:

Studio design work from conception through to detail design

History and Theory: essay and case study review

Visualization and representation including
- Graphic standards
- Image composition
- Modelmaking

Reviewing CVs, Portfolios, and presentation documents for admissions, academic projects, or work applications

2D/3D Software and fabrication skills

Willing to travel: 4 miles

Experience: With a keen interest in both speculative, narrative-driven design and social urban interventions, I believe architecture ought to be fun, engaging, accessible, and (at times) politically and culturally provocative. I appreciate architecture takes on different forms, be it on paper, text, or built work, and find modes of architectural expression and visualization an exciting process.

With experience in academic teaching and professional mentoring, such as University of Singapore`s Summer Design Workshops, Part I and Part II design guest crit, and Grimshaw`s youth mentorship program, it`s a passion an privilege to help young architects build a critical voice in architecture and design as well as develop a skills in articulating and visualising their design. I appreciate design in a chaotic an complex process, and the key to a successful project is the ability to convey the idea(s) clearly and succinctly.
