Leonora

Hello, my name is Leonora!

I teach maths to a wide range of ages and also do home schooling. I also offer eleven plus tuition and have great success with this, with multiple students being offered scholarships.

I am currently studying a Maths Degree, with hopes to become a Maths teacher in the future. I consider myself a very patient and caring person, that loves to help people.

My aim as a tutor is to inspire children and give them confidence when approaching any question. I also do my best to make each lesson fun and adapt to whatever teaching style suits each individual student. I often teach using a whiteboard and colourful pens, as have found this helps to make the lessons more enjoyable.

Experience: I currently tutor a number of students of all ages and teach a maths club for 5-10 year olds.

I have volunteered at two different schools, and have helped with Maths in both.

As well as this I have informal tutoring experience, and have helped many people pass exams that they have feared.
