Information about Adam

I am incredibly passionate about acting and theatre and use my skills to help and encourage others. I work to build confidence in my students, tailoring my classes to their needs.

Many of my students have gone onto train at established drama schools including: RADA, LAMDA, Central School of Speech and Drama and Mountview. Others have gone onto work in television and at the top U.K. Theatres.

I have First Class degree from the Guildford School of Acting and in my final year, I won the prestigious Alan Bates Award after competing against peers from the top 21 drama schools.

Since graduating I have performed in leading roles in theatre and television including: Our World War (BBC), The Butterfly Lion (Chichester Festival Theatre), Elephants & The Mystae (Hampstead Theatre), First Episode (West End), Pride and Prejudice (Sheffield Crucible), As You Like It (UK Number 1 Tour), Waking the Dead (BBC).

Experience: 2018 - Present: regular teacher at Emil Dale Academy. Teaching 16-21 year olds in: audition technique, improvisation, screen acting, contemporary theatre and classical text

2015 - Present: regular teacher at Kingdom School of Arts where I teach adults aged between 16-70. Here I work on a variety of different acting techniques and also direct the students in end of term monologue showings and duologue showcases.

I also run regular workshops at the Big Spirit Youth Theatre, teaching 14-19 year olds. I passionately believe in the use of drama for confidence building and endeavour to create a comfortable, friendly and fun environment in my workshops.
