Information about Tenisha
I thoroughly enjoy being an Assistant Headteacher; nurturing and inspiring our children on their journey to becoming proficient adults in the wider world. I enjoy working alongside the wonderful children and staff and I am very passionate about raising standards and driving the school forward to be an outstanding school. I believe in a culture of no limits underpinned by the highest expectations. As a committed practitioner who embraces challenge, I am a great asset to the Senior Leadership Team.
I am extremely passionate about improving childrens lives and have relished the opportunity to teach and lead since 2014. Teaching in year groups across all of the primary phases has equipped me with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the progression of skills in the childrens learning journey. This has enabled me to develop as a resilient, diverse practitioner who is able to adapt my teaching style to provide the best learning opportunity for all my students, producing high outcomes.
I believe that it is vital to constantly improve and evolve as a practitioner. I therefore carefully tailor my Continuing Professional Development, using a combination of approaches, ideas and techniques to develop my own learning and growth.
Willing to travel: 2 miles
Experience: For the last 6 years, I have also tutored students ranging from KS1 to Lower KS3. I enjoy the relationships I have developed with the families I have worked with and feel a sense of fulfilment when the childrens confidence and knowledge develop.
I have experience tutoring children 1 to 1 as well as in small groups. Sessions have ranged from general tuition to consolidate learning in line with the age-related expectations to SATs and 11-plus preparation.
