I am an enthusiastic tutor in English and Maths at GCSE level, and enjoy working with students of all abilities.

In my spare time, I love playing the piano, running and cycling.

Experience: I`m a sociable, outgoing law graduate with a strong academic background, and two year`s experience tutoring GCSE Maths and English Language/Literature to all abilities. I also have experience teaching the 11 Plus.

For Maths, I like to take time laying out the method students need to follow, and have written "step by step" guides which have proved really useful. Once those foundations are set, students tend to excel in the subject, even enjoying it along the way. For English, I love to encourage engaging discussions with my students, and have found this to be a really effective way of stimulating their minds and producing the best quality ideas.

I`m always really keen to listen to my students and tailor my tutoring to their needs, understanding that different students learn in different ways.

From experience, lots of students look for help with exam technique, and that`s something I`m very happy to focus on.
