I have recently received a master’s degree in civil engineering from Imperial College London.
As an engineer, I use my previous academic knowledge every day and therefore, appreciate the importance of having sound understanding of key concepts; this will be the focus of my lessons. I have over 1000 hours of tutoring experience which allows me to communicate ideas coherently and when needed, adapt my teaching style to suit an individual’s needs, for example, by coming up with analogies.
I start off by addressing gaps in knowledge and skills to ensure that improvement is seen from the very first lesson. My regular students benefit from structured lessons that are based on the national curriculum and the relevant exam board specifications. I am skilled at breaking down complex topics into easily understood sections as well as guiding my tutees to achieve their full potential; this makes me a particularly great fit for students who have a lot to revise in little time. I am comfortable with all exam board and grammar school eleven plus specifications and will provide help with everything from exams and coursework to personal statements. As a student, I can share my own revision techniques and tips which can help ease off the exam pressure.
I find it a rewarding and fruitful experience to watch my students not only improve their grades, but also take pleasure in learning. I enjoy sharing knowledge and am certain that my logical and straightforward methods are very well received.

My daughter was very worried as she was struggling to gras some topics in her A level maths, as the teachers at her school weren’t able to explain them properly, however Bushra done a really good job explaining these topics and my daughter was able to grasp what she was teaching. My daughter is confident that she has done good in her Mock exam, especially on that particular paper. Thanks

Bushra is an extremely helpful tutor and a very nice and caring individual. My daughter is in year 11, a very shy individual, has two lessons a week. My daughter started reluctantly but has now formed a good understanding with bushra. She does not feel shy asking questions and bushra always make sure she responds to her questions (out of hours) swiftly. It is still early to talk about changes in my daughter’s performance in maths. In general, I am happy with bushra.
