I`m a well qualified English teacher with 12 years experience in teaching GCSE literature and language, A level Literature, A level Literature and Language and A level Sociology/Psychology. I`ve also taught and supported a child through his Westminster School 11+ exam and more recently a boy for his general entrance exam into UK English boarding schools.

This past academic year my students have achieved:
A C grade in English GCSE retake
A B grade in A level AQA Sociology including a B in Education after 2 hours of tutoring a week.
A place at a grammar school in Gloucestershire after successfully completing his English 11+
A C for a girl with severe dyslexia
A C for a boy with severe dyslexia
A scholarship for a girl at KES

Availability: I’m free to tutor after school.
I would prefer to tutor from my house which is on the Sainsbury`s side of Frome. I will only travel 2/3 miles out of Frome now.

Experience: Over the years I`ve tutored several Year 11 students for their GCSE English exams and they have all received an A -C grade. I have tutored a boy for his Westminster School 11+ and a Russian boy for his entrance exam into a boarding school in London.

Just recently a student I have been tutoring has successfully gained a place at a private school in Bath and has been rewarded a scholarship for her abilities in English.
