Looking for a warm, friendly environment to improve Maths?

Post graduation, I chose a career in teaching for work life balance and my passion for sharing learning.

I had been London college lecturer for past 10 years. I have taught from Levels 2/3 BTEC Access courses to 5 (Quantitative Methods) at advanced degree level courses. I have taught my own children- my daughter now in university and son in a secondary school.

I give 1-1 tuition to primary and secondary children. Most of my students have exceeded their target grades in their GCSEs many achieving 8 and 9s.

Being a mother and a teacher, I combine the best of both worlds to help children gain confidence and improve their understanding of Maths. This is done by diagnosing the improvement areas, tailoring lessons to their unique needs, monitoring their progress and providing constant feedback.

I use past papers and lots of exercise questions for pupils to increase speed and accuracy. I am quite passionate about Maths and believe anyone can tackle it with the right guidance and support in a safe learning environment. I have an enhanced DBS certificate.

Based in Cheam by Nonsuch Park, I only tutor from home.

Availability: I am available on most evenings and weekends.
