My name is Olivia and I am a qualified tutor/governess with a degree in Primary Education and over a decade of experience tutoring children up to age 16.

My skills and experience allow me to bring a different approach to tutoring children, which using encouragement and a positive approach to make them want to learn.

Many times over the years I have been told by children "I wish you were my teacher" or "Can you please come everyday!", which I take as a huge compliment. I have been tutoring privately in Maidstone since the start of 2022 and have many have children with lots of positive feedback and love what I do.

Experience: I have a wide range of experience from toddlers to 16 year olds. For the last nine years I worked for a private family full time, travelling with them around the world whilst preparing them for entry back into the UK Private School system and their entrance examinations, as well as the older children`s GCSE`s.

I started by completing a BA degree in Primary Education from Canterbury Christchurch. This gave me w wide range of experience and knowledge in the EYFS and National Curriculum, allowing me to teach children up to aged 14. Since then I have tutored children from ages two and up in all levels of skills.

During the height of the pandemic I worked remotely to tutoring children for their end of year exams and assisting children who were preparing to take their GCSE`s the following year.

I have tutored in person in Maidstone since the start of January 2022, from ages 7 up to 16. I have a lot of very positive feedback and see some amazing changes in the children I help.
