Information about Rachel
I am highly qualified and experienced in the teaching sector. I have a zest for life and am highly enthusiastic in my teaching methods/approaches. I have taught English Language to foreign students, Psychology OCR A-Level (with the majority of my previous class achieving `A` grade), and speak fluent Spanish. Having travelled to many parts of the world, and also being a dance-fitness instructor & Zumba instructor, my confidence and enthusiasm radiate, and I consistently maintain the greatest and strongest rapports with those around me. I am 35, have graduated from University with an upper 2:1 in Psychology, and have a PGCE in teaching in the Lifelong Sector. I have a 7 year-old son and fully empathise with raising a child and wanting them to be the best version of themselves. Here for you, and looking forward to working with you and your family.

Experience: For adult Spanish learners, I have the PERFECT method for YOU. It involves zero paperwork and ALL speaking. There are a set of books that start from scratch and structure the lessons for us. These books contain ALL grammar and an extensive amount of vocabulary. We also practise readings and dictations, so all you would need is a notebook and a pen; nothing else. I absolutely love teaching this method and swear by it.
English grammar getting to you? Assignment writing not your strongest skill? Absolutely not a problem as this is another major strength of mine and something about which I am extremely passionate. Grammar is so important when relaying messages to people through email, letters and the like, and assignment writing is vital to pass that course and wow your lecturer/teacher. I studied English grammar for years (as well as Spanish grammar) and can absolutely ensure that a fantastic piece of writing will be produced, whether it be an essay in Psychology, a personal statement, a cover letter, a CV and so on. Reach out and get in touch to create some fantastically-written work.
I have also had lots of mentoring and coaching experience, having been a peer supporter in university. I have mentored previously, and have also been on a life coaching introductory course. I have both a teaching qualification PGCE, and a BSc degree in Psychology (upper 2:1). Alongside these qualifications I also have a multitude of various other certificates, as well as three straight A A-Levels in Spanish, Psychology and Sociology.
Spanish is my passion, having grown up speaking it and travelling to both Spain and South America. I was previously a Zumba dance fitness instructor, and love interacting with people and pushing and inspiring them to achieve their best results. I have completed online courses in NUTRITION (pre and post natal), CLIENT PSYCHOLOGY & MOTIVATION FOR NUTRITION ADVISORS, and HAND REFLEXOLOGY. I have ample experience, and am passionate about teaching.
* PGCE in teaching in the Lifelong Sector (Higher Education).
* BSc degree in Psychology (high 2:1).
* A-Levels in Psychology, Sociology & Spanish (all grade A).
* TEFL/CELTA qualification to teach English.
* GCSEs (main ones) Maths (B), English (A*), double Science (AA), Spanish (A) and several more in other subjects all grade A (Business, Art, Food tech, IT, Religious Studies).
*Have taught English to foreign students, tutored both Spanish and Psychology, been a Zumba instructor, and tutor 1-1 at work as a study coach, as well as managing large groups of college students. Rapport is crucial with students/young people and people skills is something I excel in.
Looking forward to meeting you!

Rachel is a brilliant teacher who really helped my son improve his grade for his Spanish GCSE. He was not enjoying Spanish at school and was falling behind. Rachel got him interested in the subject and made learning enjoyable and totally turned around his view on Spanish. Thank you.
