I am a UK qualified teacher who has worked for 25 years in the UK, Europe and the Middle East. My specialisms are Maths and Science to GCSE level (Foundation and Higher) as well as 11+/Common Entrance preparation. I offer weekly tutoring sessions as well as concentrated blocks of revision in the period leading up to tests/exams. Either I travel to students` homes or tutor online. I supply workbooks and other materials as needed at my expense. For sessions of more than one hour I adjust rates accordingly as I have only one return travel journey. I provide verbal feedback to parents after tutoring sessions or a short email, whichever is preferred. If required, I can set homework for students to bring back to their next session.

Availability: Late afternoon, evenings and weekends. Some school holidays.

Experience: I have tutored school age students for many years and achieved much success in the UK, Europe and Middle East. I have tutored students being home educated and adults who have occupational Numeracy tests to pass so that they can pursue their career training. I have particular strengths in tutoring students for exams and with special educational needs. I am up to date with the National Curriculum. In the past year I have worked with students during lockdown, keeping their education and motivation on track.
