Personal Descri ption:
I hold a Distinction in MSc Psychology and a First Class in BA (Hons) History of Art. I feel I can offer valuable support and guidance to others from my academic experience. Additionally, I am an award winning practising artist, therefore I have extensive knowledge of art and am eager to inspire others in these subjects.
I am passionate about learning and particularly enjoy exploring History of Art, Psychology, Statistics and Art. In particular my Psychology Masters has provided me with an insight into the most effective learning techniques for different students.
My teaching philosophy is centred around understanding the strengths and areas in need of improvement for each student. These strengths are then used as a means of positive encouragement to improve any weak areas in that subject area.
Having studied learning and memory in my Psychology masters I know how important it is to adapt each learning technique to individual students and use materials that spark imagination and strengthen the learning process.

Experience: Teaching Experience:
I have over 3 years experience tutoring secondary and GCSE students on a range of subjects, including English, Maths and Science. Specifically, I have tutored GCSE and A-Level students in Art based subjects, including creating portfolios, Art History theory and planning for Art exams and coursework. I also have experience teaching Art skills workshops voluntarily for charities in Cambridge.
Due to my advanced understanding of Psychology and Statistics, I have assisted postgraduate students in Statistics and Psychology modules, therefore I am fully confident teaching Statistics and Psychology at GCSE and A-Level standard.
