Nina is an experienced and highly effective tutor, teacher, scholar and writer. She is currently completing her PhD in English and American Literature at the University of Cambridge, on a fully funded academic studentship, but she returns to London two days a week to tutor. Nina gained her BA and MA at the University of Cambridge in 2011, and was awarded her teaching qualifications (both QTS and PGCE) from the Institute of Education in 2015 and 2016. She then completed her MA at University College London, in English and American Literature, for which she achieved the highest Distinction in her cohort and was nominated to the 2018 UCL Dean`s List. Nina taught English Literature and Language in a London secondary school (graded "Outstanding" by OFSTED) for five years, from 2014 to 2019, where her students achieved consistently excellent results. Alongside her teaching and studies, Nina has worked as a tutor for over ten years.

Nina offers high quality tuition for Key Stage 3, GCSE, A-Level, undergraduate and postgraduate students; please enquire for current fees. Nina is an expert in many areas of English and American Language and Literature, with specialisms in Shakespeare, Victorian Literature, Contemporary Literature, Academic English, University Applications and Job Applications. Nina is also an education consultant who specialises in helping students with applications to British and American universities. As a graduate of both Cambridge and UCL, she is highly qualified to help students succeed in all stages of their university applications.

Finally, Nina is a published writer. Her fiction and non-fiction have appeared or are forthcoming in Granta, Ambit and Litro, among other literary magazines. Before becoming a secondary school teacher, Nina held a position as Junior Literary Agent at the world-renowned Wylie Agency in New York. She is available for Creative Writing tuition, and for assistance in completing submissions to literary agencies, editors and literary magazines.
