As a fifth year medical student, I am well accustomed to what it takes to study and the joy of learning! I love working with people and sharing my passion for learning, especially in Maths, Science, English and Music. I hope I am an enthusiastic and positive tutor, aiming to support students to build the confidence and passion needed to succeed.

Experience: I have extensive experience in tutoring over the past 8 years both musically and academically. I have coached students from primary and secondary school ages in violin, guitar and music theory and it has been a joy to watch them develop and make progress with music grades and performance. Throughout the pandemic, I volunteered with the Coronavirus Teaching Initiative (now Tutor the Nation), where I tutored secondary school and sixth form students in Maths, Biology and Chemistry, aiming to supplement the teaching many students were lacking in lockdown. Whilst a medical student, I have run revision sessions for younger years and continue to provide outreach on the application process, coaching students in interview technique.
When I was studying for A levels, I was grateful for my maths tutor whose patience and faith in me was invaluable, and I hope this experience as a tutee guides my teaching today!
