I am a young Deputy Head teacher currently working in an outstanding school in Barnet who inspires children to achieve their best. I have extensive teaching and tutoring experience and have been a qualified teacher for over 16 years, working in primary and middle schools in the UK and in Australia. I have taught across the primary sector including up to year 9 in KS3. I have a proven track record as an outstanding teacher myself, (`lesson comes alive...pupils enthralled, by the well chosen text` Ofsted 2010). I have successfully prepared students for entrance exams and SATs, with the last cohort of year 6 (2018) 98% went onto achieve the age related expectation (ARE) and above in English and maths along with 50% achieving the higher expectation in maths and 55% in Reading.
I have a proven track record of raising standards across the curriculum and helping children achieve their full potential, whether it be children with special needs, have English as a second language or for pupils who are gifted and talented. I am engaging and able to motivate pupils ensuring they become successful, confident learners who build up a thirst for acquiring new knowledge. I have the `can do` ethos.
I am an energetic individual who lives life to the full and love to keep busy. In my spare time I keep myself fit by running, swimming and cycling. I also like to go on winter holidays snowboarding and catching up with my friends.

Success - I have tutored 2 children this year who are currently in year 2. We have established a fantastic working relationship and these two boys have been accepted into USC.
I have also tutored for the past four years four other children for their 11+ and have now settled in well in their respective schools this academic year 2018 ( The City of London and Latymer). Here we focused on all the required of English, Maths, Verbal and Non verbal reasoning with much success.

Availability: I have limited availability now for during the week, weekends are available.

All primary subjects in KS1 and 2.
Year 6 teacher for 6 years - with amazing and rapid results. (Very clear in what is needed for KS1 and 2 SATs).
All 7+ and 11+ exams ( all children tutored were successful in getting into UCS, The City of London and Latymer)
