I teach English language skills. Whether you need to write and speak better or focus on improving listening and reading, we will identify what you need and create a plan for your personal success.

Language is within all of us and the ability to play with the forms of language is a higher, trainable skill. I work with adults in work, young adults in school and university, and children. Friendly, focused and fun.

Do you want more confidence in exams, writing essays and reports, creative writing, organising your ideas for writing a speech or presentation? Be clearer, more focused and more creative when you understand how the structures of sentences, grammar, punctuation, and essays work.

Could you use clearer pronunciation and speak so that people hear and respect your ideas? Speak up in meetings, in the classroom and deliver a presentation with a happy audience. Enjoy getting your ideas across to others and collaborating with much more ease.

Is it sometimes hard to keep up with what others are saying? Listening to people speaking English is a set of actions that you can understand and improve. Key skills - schwa/neutral vowel, vocabulary, connected speech.

Does reading feel like a difficult task that you`d rather avoid? Understand how and when to get the most out of the amazing variety of written materials available in English. Key skills - using what you know already, making intuitive leaps, know how your eyes works on a page.

Experience: I am finishing a Masters in Professional Voice Practise at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire - focus on pronunciation, anatomy of the vocal tract, voice work for professional voice users and actors.

I am CELTA qualified and have taught English Language since 2010 - focus on grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.

I have taught and performed improvised comedy since 2006 - focus on creativity, spontaneity, agile thinking, active listening, confidence on stage and stage skills, presence and charisma, and collaborative working.
