I’m Nick — a tutor and creative facilitator with a background in theatre and comedy. I’ve worked with young people of all ages and backgrounds, and I’m always keen to make learning engaging, personal, and fun. Tutoring made a big difference in my life growing up, and now I enjoy helping others feel more confident and excited about learning too.

Experience: For the past six years, I’ve worked in all kinds of educational settings — from schools and private tuition to charities and online tutoring. I’ve supported students 1:1 and in small groups, helping with everything from exam prep and building confidence to crafting personal statements.

I’ve also worked with charities like the Tutor Trust and Tuition Extra, supporting young people from a wide range of backgrounds, including those who’ve faced extra challenges in education. All of this has helped me develop a relaxed, down-to-earth approach, and I always aim to shape sessions around what works best for each individual student.

Alongside tutoring, I’m a theatre director and facilitator, and I’ve worked with companies including the National Youth Theatre, Marlowe Theatre, Royal Exchange, Octagon, and Storyhouse on a variety of projects. I always bring that creative background into my tutoring to help make sessions as engaging and enjoyable as possible.
