I am currently based in an all-girls independent school in Oxfordshire and have spent 4 years working in independent schools and a further 12 years in state schools.
I have had 8 years experience as a Head of a Social Sciences department with 16 years teaching experience delivering A Level Psychology AQA and OCR, Sociology for AQA and IB (International Baccalaureate) diploma in Psychology.

Previously I was Head of Year 12/13 for 6 years with experience in UCAS administration. I have two years experience as an AQA Examiner for GCE Psychology. I also have experience as a private tutor for Psychology at A Level. I have previously run A Level Psychology as an evening course for adults. In my former position I also trained PGCE psychology graduates as part of the Teach South East program.

Teaching experience includes coordinating the EPQ, Peer Mentoring Programme and Mental Health Champions Programme. I am a qualified Yoga Instructor and also deliver Teen yoga classes in schools.

I hold a 2:1 degree in Applied Social Sciences (Psychology pathway) from Southampton University, a PGCE in post-compulsory education (specialising in Psychology) and hold QTLS.
