I am patient and understanding, with a love for sharing ideas and aiding the development of others. My aim for a career in public science communication comes from making complex ideas available to everyone.

Currently, I am working on a PhD in Computational Biology at the Institute of Cancer Research, requiring in-depth knowledge of both biology and mathematics. In late 2018, I graduated with merit from a bioinformatics MSc at Imperial College London, where I thoroughly enjoyed becoming highly interdisciplinary.

In 2017 I graduated with a high 2:1 undergraduate degree in biochemistry with a year abroad from the University of Leicester. In 2015/6 I spent an academic year at the University of Tulsa, Oklahoma, focusing mainly on computational biology.

I research full time as well as being employed by Ivy Education, a premier London tutoring agency. Right now I am only taking on a few students so that I can give each student the attention they need.

Availability: Weekday evenings after 17:30 and weekends.

Willing to travel: 4 miles

Experience: I knew I had a passion to help others learn since peer mentoring in secondary school. I have a combined experience of 9 years` teaching KS2 and KS3, 7 teaching GCSE, 5 teaching A-Level, and 3 teaching adult learners and undergraduates.

I have also been working with Ivy Education for 2 years now. This has provided me with some more challenging assignments that expanded my teaching skills and has helped me work with some truly brilliant students.
