Hello, I`m Susie a trainee operational meteorologist for the Met Office. I have a first class Masters in Mathematics from the University of Exeter and a Distinction in grade 8 Flute, and am excited to try and transfer my enthusiasm and knowledge for the subjects!

I tailor my sessions to the tutee`s needs so that it is accessible, engaging and hopefully fun!

Throughout my degree and masters I have demonstrated my ability to apply myself to whatever I do, so before I begin tutoring a client I make sure to research and tailor my lessons for their specific exam boards and curriculum.

As well as my knowledge of applied Mathematics I am proficient at multiple coding languages including: MATLAB, LaTeX, R and Python with experience from projects during degree and work. Please do contact me and I`d be happy to discuss and ascertain if I`m able to offer tuition for the subject.

Availability: I am generally available weekdays afternoons/evenings and weekends, however I work on a shift pattern so sessions may not be on a consistent day and time each week.

Experience: I have previously worked as a teaching assistant for 8 months, in which I helped enable students to access lessons. As well as this I have over a year`s experience tutoring students privately to help them achieve the GCSE grades they are aiming for. Whilst at sixth form I also offered free tuition, receiving a certificate for being a student mentor volunteer.
