Born and raised in Liverpool, I have lived in the USA for 25 years. I am currently based just south of Chicago. I am a published author of short stories and newspaper articles and have Bachelors of Arts (Honours) degrees in English and Creative Writing from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Master`s degree in Creative Writing from Indiana University.

(I am polishing my book-length collection of short stories__based in the UK__for publication.) For three years I taught at Indiana, specializing in creative writing, English, and writer workshops. I am also a former newspaper and fiction editor, available for fine-tuning/polishing or developmental/structural work.
