I have 12 years experience working as the lead teacher in A-level Psychology. I am also an examiner. This has involved marking exam papers, understanding and applying assessment criteria and writing examiner reports. This has given me invaluable experience on how exam papers are marked and assessed. I am able to give students expert feedback on how to improve their exam technique and understand the assessment criteria. I am a confident and experienced Psychology lead teacher with a proven track record of delivering a successful A-level Psychology course. I am a passionate teacher and enthusiastic about my profession and subject discipline. I am committed to raising the standard of every student. I am conscientious, dedicated and well organised and this is reflected in all areas of my teaching, planning and assessment. My main focus has been to provide high quality teaching to students and this has been evident in my lesson observations in which I have consistently been graded as outstanding. My tutoring approach involves using a range of teaching and learning techniques to meet the needs of individual students.

Experience: I have been teaching and leading A-level Psychology for the last 12 years. I have experience of teaching both AS and A2 Psychology within the 16-19 age range. I have taught both AQA and Ed-Excel specifications. I am currently teaching in a large department at a sixth form college in Birmingham. I have also had experience of working as a private tutor with students on a one to one basis.
