Hi my name is Yuvy and I’m a 19 year old medical student at UCL. I am an enthusiastic and committed tutor and have had great experience in helping students achieve their maximum potential in their Maths and Sciences.
I am able to tutor GCSE Maths, Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Further maths as well as A-Level Maths, Biology and Chemistry.
I am also very able and happy to give advice on UCAT,BMAT and medical school interviews having gone through the experience myself.

Experience: I have been tutoring for the past 3 years now firstly at my 6th form college helping GCSE and L6 students in their work. For each student I aim to tailor my approach to their unique needs. I also believe that making an effective plan, focussing on weaknesses and hard work are the key aspects for success in GCSE/A-Level Maths and Sciences.

I have access to a lot of practice papers, therefore meaning that my students never run out of work to do and have sufficient practice before exams. Practice questions and highlighting mistakes is vital for exam preparation as you ensure you learn from the mistakes and don’t repeat them when it actually matters.

I have recently gone through the GCSE and A level process myself and completely understand the position that secondary school students are in.

I have obtained grade 9s in Maths, Biology, Chemistry, physics and an A star distinction in further maths as well as having obtained 2A* in A level Chemistry and Maths and an A in Biology!
