I completed a PhD in Computational Biology in 2019 with minor corrections. I have also previously completed a BSc in mathematics, statistics and computing with first class honours and a MSc in Applied Mathematics with distinction. Recently, I was awarded Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and am currently working towards obtaining a PGCHEP (Post-Graduate Certificate in Higher Education Practice). My experience and knowledge range from mathematical and theoretical to numerical and computational. I have included a list of some of the relevant modules I have taken during my MSc and BSc degrees below.

Experience: Since 2020, I have been teaching in class and online using Zoom at University of Greenwich and University of Essex. The Zoom classes are interactive online lessons and focus on mathematics and statistics support sometimes delivered in combination with the use of software such as SPSS, R or MATLAB. My students range from GCSE to postgraduate degree level. Students I teach come from different backgrounds and their degree subjects vary. Some examples are these: computer science, health science, chemistry, biology, psychology, economics, business, and nursing. Although I have been a Tutor Hunt member for at least 8 years, I have only been actively tutoring on this platform since June 2022.

Prior to the start of my teaching experience in 2019, I have mentored fellow students in Mathematics and Statistics during college, BSc and MSc degrees whilst studying. Students mentored have successfully completed their degrees and now are following successful careers. I specialise in numerical and computational mathematics, thus, can help with discretisation of equations, application of different methods (FDM or FVM) and solving them using MATLAB (or VBA).

NB: I hold a DBS check obtained during my involvement with STEM at secondary schools whilst a Systems Engineer in 2019.
