I am a warm and engaging tutor and love to see my students make progress and discover a passion for English.

I am a qualified English teacher (Secondary and English as a Foreign Language) and am fully DBS checked. I have taught English in outstanding academies and language schools and am able to support learners with a variety of speech and language needs.

I help students prepare for the:

- 11+ (including English, Maths, Non-Verbal and Verbal Reasoning, School Interviews)
- 13+ (English Language and English Literature)
- GCSE and iGCSE (English Language and English Literature)
- A-Level (English Language, English Literature, Film, Media and Theatre Studies)
- University applications (UCAS, Postgraduate Courses, University Interviews)

I also teach English as a Foreign Language and enjoy supporting students who are learning English and wish to improve their reading, writing, speaking or listening skills.

In addition, I am an experienced writing mentor and theatre youth group facilitator. I can help devise and write stories, poetry, plays, film scri pts, news articles, blogs or magazine features. As a writer myself, I am passionate about the creative writing process.

Availability: Wednesday, Thursday or Friday after school or Saturdays.

Experience: I am fully DBS checked, am experienced in tutoring 11+, 13+, GCSE and A-Level and am also a qualified English as a Foreign Language teacher. I am experienced tutoring face on face and online. In addition, I have taught English to pupils of various ages and abilities at two outstanding academies, taught in language schools, mentored young people at a creative writing centre and facilitated workshops at a theatre youth group. I am also experienced in supporting teenagers with a variety of speech and language needs.
