I have extensive experience tutoring children and tailoring support to their individual needs, providing strategies, specialised techniques and parental guidance to support further. I am very dedicated to teaching and awarded `outstanding` in all aspects of my PGCE/MA and First Class degree. I ensure my practice is kept up to date and provide a range of current and enjoyable lessons to boost children`s self-esteem and confidence when taking SAT and 11+ test. I enjoy providing support for children to succeed in their learning. My one to one sessions are structured, meet learning objectives and explore the subject area, to help further my students learning. I have continued my own professional development with a post-graduate training within Integrative Arts Psychotherapy and Forest Schools for children.

I am able to provide individual tuition in primary, secondary and further education in a range of subjects, in particular English and Mathematics. Also, if your child is preparing for exams, including 11+ or SATs, I am able to offer assessment papers, support and teaching exam techniques for these. This is essential for passing exams and achieving the best results for your child. I am very happy to help in other areas of subjects. Equally, if your child has a specific learning difficulty and sometimes may need that little extra support in phonemic awareness, reading and writing skills or grammar.

Sessions usually range from one to two hours per week depending on your child`s requirements.

Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or more information. I have excellent references and rapport with local schools, within the London Borough of Bromley.

Sarah-Louise started tutoring our 8 year old (year 3) daughter in Maths a few weeks ago. We have have found her to be prompt, reliable, professional and also friendly, approachable and easy to talk to. My daughter actually now enjoys her maths lessons as Sarah-Louise uses a range of techniques, games and resources to keep her engaged. This ensures that the sessions are productive and that our daughter is engaged and interested resulting in a better learning experience. Sarah-Louise has a great knowledge of a wide range of approaches to maths and is clearly passionate about ensuring that each child is treated individually and importantly that each child reaches their full potential. We are very happy with Sarah-Louise and so is our daughter. Highly recommended.

I would highly recommend Sarah-Louise. My 8 year daughter enjoys her sessions and is even keen to do the homework! Her teacher has already seen a massive improvement in her maths and literacy in the few weeks Sarah has been tutoring. Sarah has a great rapport with children and my 4 year old even looks forward to her visits and getting a sticker. Thank you.
