I am a friendly, patient and engaging tutor who strives to bring out the best in students and build their confidence.

I have a degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Oxford (2.1, 2011) and a Masters in Theatre Composition and Production from Golds (Distinction, 2014).

My specialist area is 11+ preparation, with a particular focus on English and Verbal Reasoning.

When I am not teaching, I work part-time for an educational charity and am an award winning musical theatre writer.

Availability: My current availability is as follows:

Wednesdays - Fridays: afternoon and evening
Saturdays - all day

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I have over four years of private tutoring experience, teaching subjects including English, Maths, 7+ preparation, 11+ preparation, Drama, Music and Oxbridge interview technique to students ranging from 5 to 18 years old.

Between 2014 and 2016 I worked as an Assistant Content Producer at The Times Educational Supplement, writing articles on topical education stories, and creating educational resources.

I currently work for an educational charity, where I also tutor on a voluntary basis. I am DBS checked.
