I am a fully qualified primary teacher with a background in music and the performing arts. I am not teaching full time in a school at the moment, as I want flexible hours that enable me to spend time with my own three children.

I am able to offer tutoring for all subjects at primary level including preparation for secondary school transfer, and the 11+ exams ( Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning and Non Verbal Reasoning). I aim to increase a child`s confidence and tailor all my lessons to the individual child.

I charge £30 ph, and always teach at my students` homes. I recommend appropriate 11+ materials based on an initial assessment on their first lesson, and supply more of my own resources.

Availability: I am very flexible in my availability, especially if a pupil is able to come to my house. I am available to teach at weekends and in the school holidays as well as weekdays and evenings up till 8.

Experience: I worked as a singer, actor and director for many years before having my own children, and became interested in Education when my eldest son was growing up, and was faced with the challenge of the 11+. He did very well, and I am now bringing my school-based and parenting skills together, as I believe that some educational experiences are unachievable in a classroom setting.
