Experience: I am a violin scholar at the Royal College of Music supported by the Ian Evans Lombe Award, in my final year of my undergraduate degree, under the tutelage of Leonid Kerbel. As a previous student at the Royal College of Music Junior Department, I studied with Viktoria Grigoreva and Mark Messenger, and was the leader of the Royal College of Music Junior Department Symphony and Chamber Orchestras, Thames Vale Youth Orchestra and Oxford Concerto Orchestra. I was a member of the 1st Violin Section of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain, sitting 3rd chair, and have performed solo recitals in the Royal Albert Hall’s Elgar Room, RCM’s Amaryllis Fleming Concert Hall, Wigmore Hall, Oxford`s own Sheldonian Theatre and Carnegie Hall as a winner of the Golden Key Festival Competition, and have won scholarships to attend international masterclass courses, including Musica Mundi in Belgium, the Tsukanov Scholarship to Jersey International Masterclasses and New Virtuosi, Queenswood, where I studied with Itzhak Rashkovsky and Andrej Bielow. I have also won GDST Young Musician of the Year, the Royal College of Music Chamber Music Prize, the Constance Farrington Prize, the Freda Dinn & Ida Mabbett String Prize, Oxford`s Young Artist Platform, 2nd Prize in Grand Prize Vienna Competition, as well as being a finalist in the Royal Philharmonic Society`s Duet Prize, a runner up in the RCM Angela Bull Memorial Competition and in the finals of both the Royal College of Music Gordon Turner Competition and Royal College of Music Peter Morrison Concerto Competition Finals.
I have been teaching for 6 years.
