I am an experienced and successful tutor.

I graduated in 2012 with a BA in Psychology and Counselling (first class honours) as a mature student and went on to study a postgraduate qualification in psychology research methods at Swansea University.

I have since completed a formal teaching qualification - PGCE (PCET) - and have experience as a lecturer in further education and higher education.

As a result have a broad yet in-depth knowledge of psychology, key concepts and theories, and experience in as a research assistant, teacher, and lecturer in psychology.

I have a recent, full (enhanced) DBS reference.

Experience: I have tutored numerous students in Psychology and Research Methods/Statistics over the past few years with considerable success, particularly in getting undergraduate students through their dissertation.

I find that Psychology students often have difficulty with the quantitative research (statistics and/or SPSS software) and have experience in tutoring students from Level 4 (year 1 undergrad) to Masters level in this area. I can also offer tuition in qualitative research, and academic writing.

I have experience in tutoring the IB Psychology (International Diploma) via Skype for schools abroad, and have experience in tutoring the current A level curriculum.

As a mature student I found it necessary to develop study skills that were effective and time-efficient and so can also provide tuition on study skills and effective exam technique.
