Information about Olubayo
I am a kind hearted, friendly, professional and highly trained teacher. I am extremely passionate about teaching, I find the position personally satisfying and beneficial to the students I work with. I am a great communicator and listener, and can understand a students needs. Education is a passion of mine. Ive worked as a teacher for several years across a range of subjects
I am presently a Head of Department/lead practitioner designate, teaching science key stage 3-5 and take a lead role in Learning and Teaching working groups such as Gifted and Talented and provide practical strategies to support thinking/stretch activities especially for higher achievers in the school. I contribute to relevant school policy making and implementation, run whole school training session focusing on learning and stretching the higher achievers, Other Responsibilities include Teacher Mentor
Progression needs to be planned for, so that as children work and explore at their own pace, there is always something else ready to move them on and take them further in their learning. I also believe that differentiation and meeting varied learning styles are key to effective teaching and learning. Work should be set at an appropriate, but challenging, level
My professional status aside, I have a passion for sports especially football, athletics and formula one.
My ongoing hobbies include reading, film, football and travelling when and wherever possible.

Mr Olubayo has a good teaching approach, particularly as math is not my daughter`s strongest subject. He is patient and ensures that the student understands what he is teaching before moving on. He never comes across as rushed. Very pleased with his service so far.
