Information about Toby
I am a young, friendly and enthusiastic professional pianist and composer, living and working in Glasgow. I can offer A-Level and GCSE music tuition (including composition modules), Music Theory tuition (any syllabus), piano tuition (all grades, ABRSM and TCL syllabuses), Oxbridge interview coaching, and anything in between...
I studied at Clare College, Cambridge, graduating first with my BA in Music, and then an MPhil in Composition. Before that, I studied piano and composition at Chetham`s School of Music, in Manchester. I really enjoy helping and working with people of all ages, abilities and aspirations, and sharing my craft. I am patient, organised and will work at a pace to suit you, and I love a challenge - so no matter how much help you need, I will get you to where you want to be! As long as you want to learn, I want to teach you!
Availability: I am generally available weekday evenings, and all day at weekends (excepting Sunday mornings) - but if that doesn`t suit you, just ask! I will always make time if I can.
Willing to travel: 20 miles
Experience: I have experience working with people of all ages, both in one-to-one scenarios and also in groups. I am DBS cleared (Basic Certificate).
