Hi there ,

My name is Camille and have graduated from my masters in Chemistry. (2.1 Honours for BSc and 1st Class Honours for MSci). I have just finished my law conversion diploma and am awaiting to start training as a lawyer. I have been tutoring in London for over three years now. My favourite part of the job is working with young minds and especially girls, as I finding it particularly gratifying seeing them become more confident in the class room. I do however tutor to all ages and enjoy tutoring as whole.

I believe that I`m a patient teacher and communicate well with my student. Everyone one learns in a different way and there is not one teaching technique that fits all. This is something that i have noticed myself, as a student. I therefore take the time beforehand, to get to know my students and to understand their learning methods, in order to deliver a session tailored to them. I like to be creative with my teaching methods and try to find new and fun ways to deliver a session. When applicable , I enjoy designing my own problem sheets for the tutee in order to target their particular learning difficulties. I have always been dedicated to ensure my tutees` success. I also like to keep in touch with my students between lessons to offer as much support as possible.

I am qualified to teach you Maths, Chemistry and Biology as I had a daily use for these subjects when I was doing research for my thesis in cancer studies and cell biology. I received 1st class honours for my thesis, therefore giving me the confidence that explain and convey new scientific ideas. I would be so excited to tutor in my field , as i`m sure that I could inspire you in these topics through my enthusiasm and passion for the sciences .

Regarding my tutoring the french language , i have been in the french education my whole life before coming to university - i did the french baccalaureate for my high school diploma. Being French helps too ! Having helped primary school children with their homework ( while still being in high school ) has also helped me find simple and easy ways to explain and help remember french grammar rules.

Experience: - I have accumulated more than 300 hours of tutoring this past school school year (16/17) preparing my students for their in-class tests/ exams
-Tutor to primary school students while in high school (Lycée)
- Invited back to tutor at King`s College London as a laboratory demonstrator and teach alongside my former tutors
- Tutor to students taking to A-Levels/GCSE/Baccalauréat Français
- Worked as a demonstrator for open days in my university where GCSE students come in to see what university life is like
- Worked as a demonstrator in widening participation events within my university
- Mentored younger students at my university
