Information about Rebecca
I am currently in my fourth year of studying medicine at UCL.
I believe that learning is a very personal process and therefore would like to meet potential students before starting in order to tailor a teaching plan to your needs. As a medical student, I understand that exams can be a stressful time. Therefore, I am very happy to be involved in not only educational but holistic help- a happy student is a student who is learning well!
I spend much of the daytime explaining science to patients, and feel that my past experience has helped me build up an assortment of analogies to help students reach that `Eureka` moment. Whether it`s key scientific knowedge or fine tuning for examinations that you need, I am here to help.
Availability: Weekends, Weekday evenings
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: I have spent 2.5 years volunteering with an autistic child at weekends, going on educational trips and outings.
I taught a GCSE Physics class on Friday afternoons during my A levels, which often meant being in charge and running prepared practical sessions.
I taught GCSE Astronomy during my A levels, of which all 42 students passed.
My hobbies include playing hockey for our University team and running marathons.
