I am studying Medicine at the University of Sheffield. I am a friendly, organised and experienced tutor. I personally sat the new specifications for A-Levels myself so I can relate and can help you adapt to the new course. I have tutored for many years, and I focus not only helping you getting good grades but by also providing you with the tools and techniques which can help you with your studies in the future too.
I have also worked as a senior mentor on the National Citizen Service where I mentor a group of young students during the summer, hoping to develop their independence and confidence. I love being able to make learning fun.

I continuously try to find new and interactive ways to explain the information to student. I am able to adapt to your learning style whether it be with a visual or audio style etc. Being a young tutor allows me to relate to my students and understand their difficulties, but also allows me to build a good rapport with them allowing a better environment for them to learn.

Experience: I have tutored for over 3 years now, ranging from 11+ , GCSEs and A-Levels.
All of my students have achieved their predicted grades or exceeded them.

I will ensure I understand the students strengths and weaknesses, so that I am able to prepare my lessons based on the topics they are struggling with. I will utilise the specification to help me plan my lesson alongside exam questions, to ensure the content is covered but so they are able to answer questions. In tutoring the topic, I will adapt my pace to one that suits themselves. Throughout the session I will highlight certain key phrases or buzzwords that are essential to exam questions and provide support in how to use the content to answer exam questions correctly

I would reflect at the end of the session, to gauge the students progress and understand how they feel about the topic now. I would do this by testing them with exam questions, to see whether they can also apply the information they have learnt.
