Information about Chloe
My focus of my tutoring sessions will be focused on either consolidating your understanding and/ or going over your PPQ and improving them together (if required! :) ) I have a psychology degree from the University of Cambridge, and I have A-levels in Psychology (A), Sociology (A*) and Biology (A*) and GCSE in Sociology (B) and Biology (6). I have been tutored before, and my supervisions while at Cambridge will be formative to how I tutor, as I will set work for you to hand in and for me to mark before a session. During a session we would go over your answers, improve on them and ensure you understand the content discussed. If you don`t, we can go over it and help you understand better. If you feel you can learn better in a differing technique, feel free to drop me a message, and I`ll try my best to adapt to your needs! I`m knowledgeable, conscientious and am constantly trying to improve my knowledge of other`s circumstances and experiences. So if you have extra needs, also don`t hesitate to ask! Sending you love, light and blessed be! <3
Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: Any sessions you book with me will have past paper questions which will allow me to gauge your ability of the subject I am tutoring you for. We will then go over the questions answered during a session and help you improve your answer and understanding.
However, I will allow you to express your needs. If you need me to help you understand the content better before we cover your answers or vice versa- I`m happy to!
As previously mentioned, if you have needs requirements for example you need typed feedback, session notes, or diagrams I am happy to help organise and provide this for you. Just please let me know as far in advance as you can, so this can be provided for you ASAP.
I will be focusing on the course curriculum, and how best to structure your answers for the exams. However I find extra learning (otherwise known as super-curricular learning) can really help develop your understanding and so I`m happy to discuss that in our sessions too!
I have had tutoring myself, and I am aware of the challenges and experiences that can come with being a tutee, and so I am completely understanding of any questions or queries, or issues you may have! Just let me know!
I have helped my siblings through a variety of subjects, but specifically sociology, and would help friends throughout our courses. I was a Rainbow young leader for many years as a teenager and so am quite experienced in helping people learn new skills and problem-solving solutions.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me! :)
