Hello! I am a 22 year-old English Literature Graduate from the University of Bristol. I just got back from a working-holiday year abroad in Canada, and am keen to get involved helping children from a multitude of ages with their applicable oncoming examinations or just general studies. I enjoy playing my musical instruments, competitively playing touch rugby, and seeing friends regularly.

Availability: I am free on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, anytime after 5pm.

Experience: I have previously tutored a girl working towards her English GCSE at Bedminster Down School for a term during my time at University as part of the Bristol Teach First scheme, where we worked through past papers, and studied her texts with frequent discussions of themes and characters to further her understanding of the literature.
I also worked as a peer mentor for 5 first year students during my final year at Bristol, where I offered emotional support, advice, and maintained regular contact both via email and in person with my mentees.
Having previously attended Newstead Wood School for Girls in Orpington, I am familiar with the layout and structure of the 11+ test, and the GCSES. I am happy to be tutoring maths and English for any level up to GCSE, as well as verbal and non-verbal reasoning. During my time at Newstead, I ran the year 7+8 Young Voices choir, and also was a House Captain in Year 13, so believe myself to be an organised and reliable individual, who is able to engage with children in a beneficial way to aid them to achieve highly.

I have also babysat for local church families, and previously worked as a Sunday School teacher at the church for Key Stage 1 children every Sunday for a year.
