I am a qualified and experienced Science teacher, tutor and examiner with one of the main Examination Boards. I believe that learning takes place in a calm and supportive environment and am mindful of the fact that students have their own unique learning styles. I am privileged to be able to share my passion and enthusiasm for the Science with others. I am reliable, approachable and foster respectful teacher-student relationships.

Availability: I have availability for face to face tuition or for online lessons, weekday evenings and weekends.

Experience: I have 15 years of teaching experience in both State and Independent schools, in the UK and abroad. I have a very successful record of supporting home schooled students as well as those in mainstream education who wish to improve their grades. In addition, I have tutored international students who are studying IGCSE and A level qualifications. My approach is to reinforce comprehension by explaining the subject matter at a pace suited to the students ability. This is followed by the development of scientific literacy and examination practice in order to build confidence in the run up to the final examination. I am currently supporting students to build up gaps in knowledge they may have developed during extended periods of absence from on site schooling.
